I like the story because they show how they survive. I like the story because it talks about God.
Rodney Pendegayosh age 11
I like Grandma’s story because her book talks about God. The second reason I like the book is because it shows never to give up when tough times come in your life.

I am an avid reader and I could not put this book down. I had it read in two sessions and when I got to the end, I wanted to know what would be the next episode. I was impressed on how each character was so distinct and I was able to remember who everyone was without looking back and forth. For years I have read every single day and I really liked this book.

It’s a book that gets you thinking. It is a good book. The thing I like about Hannah is she is not judgmental of other people.
Mariel Rouru age 60s
The first paragraph of chapter three of Part two makes me think of Russia. I like how Hannah goes into the woods. I like this book.
John Schmidt age 30s
This is a real page turner, I find myself wondering what will happen next. At the same time, it is also not just a thriller, it also takes a look at how life might be in a tumultuous time in the future. A real eye-opener, with a solid Biblical base and scriptural accuracy. I would like to see a sequel and a prequel to see what happened before and what will happen next. [This was written after reading part two.]

When Dot wrote the first couple of pages of her story and read them to me, I got excited seeing the making of a book right before my eyes. As the week continued on, I could hardly wait for the next chapter, chapter to chapter. It was like I was living right in the pages of the book along with her characters. I have heard part two of the book and look forward to the other parts.
